Accident

A case FIR No. 88, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Avinash Kumar R/o # 1275, Adarsh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) against the driver of Verna car No. HR-28H-6055 namely Lovely R/o # 343, PH-1, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh who hit M/Cycle No. PB65N4062 driven by the complainant’s father namely Videsh Pal near Small Chowk, Dividing Road, Sector-9/10, Chandigarh on 06.10.2020. He got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh, where he expired later. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 172, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Jasbir Singh R/o # 321, Khuda-Ali-Sher, Chandigarh against the driver of Mercedes car No. CH01BP-0482 namely Rajan Jain R/o # 2158, Sector 15C, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s car No. CH01BM-8625 and also hit a parked Baleno car No. CH01BZ-0736 (owned by Vipan Kumar R/o H.No. 6, Sector 16D, Chandigarh near Kothi No. 6/8, Sector-16D, Chandigarh on 03.10.2020. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 78, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh against the unknown driver of car who sped away after hitting to M/Cycle No. PB-65AF-1038 driven by Neelkant R/o Village-Popna, Distt-Mohali (PB) near light point, Dividing Road, Sec-20/30, Chandigarh on 07.10.2020. Motor Cyclist got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh, where he expired later. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Shubham Aggarwal R/o # 1525, Sector-15, Panchkula, (HR) reported that unknown person stole away his black colour Activa Scooter No. HR03L-8702 parked in front of SCO No. 855, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 04.09.2020. A case FIR No. 157, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

   A case FIR No. 163, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Surja Ram R/o # 966, Ward No. 4, Gobind Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) who reported that unknown person taken loan on electronic goods/items worth Rs. 3,61,465/- from IDFC Bank, SCO No. 47, 1^st floor, Sector 26, Chandigarh in the name of complainant from Balaji Enterprises, Shop No. 51/3, Old Ropar road, Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

   A case FIR No. 158, U/S 419, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vikas Gandhi R/o # 129, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person sent whatsapp message by pretending as complainant’s younger brother who is residing in USA that he required urgent money for his friends account and cheated Rs 2,50,000/- from complainant. Investigation of the case is in progress.

   A case FIR No. 192, U/S 406, 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Hara Dhan R/o Sanjay Nagar, Tehsil Goderpur, Distt. Udham Singh Nagar, Uttrakhand who reported that unknown persons cheated away Rs. 32,000/-, two mobile phones and documents from complainant for providing bus ticket near Hotel Victoria, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 07.10.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.
