Action against disobeying of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 148, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Monu R/o Voll-Padha, Distt. Karnal (HR) who was arrested while roaming without pass permission during lockdown hours near SCO No. 2 Madhya Marg, Sector -26, Chandigarh on 29.08.2020. He disobeyed orders of the DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Harpreet Singh R/o Village Bhankarpur, Distt. Mohali, (age 35 years) and recovered 100 capsules of RIMDOL-50 and 400 tablets of CLEVIDOL-100rs from his possession near Parade Ground towards CAT Building, Sector -17, Chandigarh on 30.08.2020. A case FIR No. 156, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Shabaz Malik R/o Room No. 1, near Ayush Hospital, Balongi, Mohali, PB, (age 24 years) and recovered  70 Injections (50 Bupernorphine 2 ML each and 20 Pheniramine Meleate 10 ML Each) from his possession near football ground, Sector -56, Chandigarh on 30.08.2020. A case FIR No. 269, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Three arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Chandigarh Police Dalip Singh, Sanjay and Kashish resident of Punjab, while he was consuming liquor at a public place at parking near Inner Market, Sector-9, Chandigarh on 30.08.2020. A case FIR No. 78, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

          A case FIR No. 128, U/S 341, 325, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Virender Kumar R/o # 75/02, Manav Enclave, GTV Nagar, Kharar, PB, who alleged that Shivam Rana, Ashraf, Ram Kumar and others quarreled/beaten with complainant near Fauji Enclave, village Maloya, Chandigarh on 27.08.2020. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Vivek Kumar Gupta R/o # 2844, Sector-22, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. DL4SC-8365, from near his residence. A case FIR No. 155, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Accident

          A case FIR No. 267, U/S 279, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Constable Pardeep of PS-39, against a girl resident of Mohali, driver of BMW car No. CH01BW-1213, who hit to unknown pedestrian near Slip road near Sector 39/40-55/56 Chowk on 29.08.2020. He was lifted to GH-16, Chandigarh, where he was died. Investigation of the case is in progress.
