Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran & 39 Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 26.02.2020. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 34, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Bhajan Lal R/o Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near Fish Market, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra on 26.02.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 26, U/S 279, 337, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against Kunal R/o # 1078, Sector-12, Huda, Panipat, Haryana who was driving Land Cruiser car No. HR-06AM-0019 which struck with pole at dividing road, Sector-9/10, Chandigarh. Resultantly, occupant of car namely Shrishti Goyal age-27 years got injured and declared brought dead at GH-16, Chandigarh. Driver of car arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Culpable Homicide

A case FIR No. 35, U/S 304 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sonu Singh R/o # 604, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh against driver of Truck No. PB65AD-9030 namely Ravinder Kumar Patel R/o Hallo Majra, Chandigarh who hit to three pedestrian persons namely Jagat Pal, Sunil & Avdesh all R/o Hallo Majra, Chandigarh near railway bridge, Colony No. 4. Light point, Chandigarh on 26.02.2020. Pedestrian persons got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh where Jagatpal & Sunil declared brought dead.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Fetus Found

A case FIR No. 16, U/S 318 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh against unknown person who thrown away fetus at road near Tubewell, Sector-50, Chandigarh on 26.02.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Shakti R/o # 5494, Maloya Colony, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Black CD Deluxe M/Cycle No. CH03Z-0753 from Market, Sector-40D, Chandigarh on 26-02-2020. A case FIR No. 74, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
