One arrested for MV theft

Chandigarh Police arrested Ashish Kumar R/o # 1545, Sector-18, Chandigarh age 28 years near parking area Palika Bazar Sec-19, Chandigarh and recovered stolen motor cycle No. HR-08J-3449 from his possession on 24.02.2020. M/Cycle was stolen in case FIR No. 290/2019 U/S 379 IPC, PS-Pinjore, Distt. Panchkula (HR). In this regard, a case FIR No. 17, U/S 411 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

MV Theft

Pardeep R/o # 4047, Sector-25, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Splendor M/Cycle No. CH-01BL-8511 parked near his house on the night intervening 17/18-02-2020. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rakesh Sharma R/o # 672/1, Mohalla Dera Sahib, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Maruti Zen car No. HR-031B-0081 from parking area Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on the night intervening 03/04-02-2020. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Amritpal Singh R/o # 210/1, Sector-40/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Brezza car No. UP52AS-2786 from park near his residence Sector-40/A, Chandigarh on intervening night 22/23-02-2020. A case FIR No. 70, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Ajay Kumar R/o # 1391, DMC, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Honda Dreamyug M/Cycle No. HR-03S-8986 parked near tubewell near Bus Stand Maloya, Chandigarh on intervening night 18/19-02-2020. A case FIR No. 30, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajiv Choudhary R/o # 10/A, Sector-30, Chandigarh who is working as Accounts Manger in Bhushan Factory, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 2 gold chains, one HTC mobile phone and cash Rs. 5000/6000 from his residence on 23-02-2020. A case FIR No. 34, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 33, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Naresh Kumar R/o # 3011, Sec-15, Panchkula (HR) who alleged that driver of Punjab Roadways Bus No. PB-12Y-0914 namely Karamjit Singh R/o Village Chediyan, PS Bhagwatpura, Teh. & Distt. Ropar (PB) hit to complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01AF-1681 near Tribune Chowk, Chandigarh on 22.02.2020. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 29, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Lakhwinder Singh R/o Village Badali, Distt-Ropar (PB) who alleged that driver of car No. PB-01B-6053 hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. PB-12AE-3079 near Dumping Ground, Dadu Majra, Chandigarh on 24.02.2020. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for outraging modesty of women

A case FIR No. 71, U/S 354, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Chandigarh who alleged that Lovepreet R/o # 823, Sector 40, Chandigarh assaulted and outraged modesty of complainant near her residence on 24.02.2020. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
