Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03 & 39, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 20.01.2020. Later he was released on bail.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Rahul R/o # 2891, DMC, Chandigarh Age 19 years      and recovered 5 gram heroin/ smack from his possession near School, Sector-38 West, Chandigarh on 20.01.2020. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Fazilka (PB) harassed her to bring more dowries. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Sector 19, Chandigarh harassed her to bring more dowries. A case FIR No. 14, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Suman Kyathanm R/o # 579, Sector-69, Mohali reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. TS08GF-0403 from market, Sector-40, Chandigarh on 19.01.2020. A case FIR No. 20, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
