Chandigarh Police arrested Suraj R/o # 258, New Indra Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh age 24 years         and recovered 10 Gram Heroin from his possession near Gate No. 1, Police Line, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 11-01-2020. A case FIR No. 10, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Rakesh R/o # 586, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh age 34 years while he was playing satta near Booth No. 25-26 NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 12.01.2020. Total cash Rs. 1250/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 07, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 03, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Radhe Shyam R/o # 1062, Dashmesh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Mohali (PB) against unknown driver of Alto car No CH01AR4669 which sped away after hitting to complainant’s M/Cycle No. PB65-AS-8018 near Haryana Raj Bhawan Sector-6, Chandigarh on 11.01.2020. Complainant’s daughters got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 08, U/S 279, 337, 338 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Adityaveer Thakur R/o # 2106, Sector-66, Mohali (PB) against driver of Innova car No. CH01-BL-0082 namely Gagandeep Singh Bhangu R/o # 1117, Sector-67, Mohali (PB) which hit to complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01-AJ-5765 near Dispensary, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 02.01.2020. Complainant and his friend got injuries and were admitted in Hospital. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Kartik Negi R/o # 6, Tribune Society Complex, Village-Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. HP-25A-3837 parked near # 39, Sector 15A, Chandigarh on the night intervening 03/04-01-2020. A case FIR No. 10, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Jagjeet Singh R/o # 1121, Sector-11, Ranjit Nagar, Kharar (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Maruti-800 car No. PB-65B-2883 along with one gold ring, one ear ring, cash Rs 23,000/- and some documents in it while parked at back side B-Block Parking, PGIMER, Chandigarh on 23-12-2019. A case FIR No. 11, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Area, Chandigarh against Vikas R/o # 180 Shital Nagar near Jhujhar Mohali PB, Sanjeev Kumar R/o # 5033 HB Colony MM, Chandigarh,  Giyasuddin Ansari R/o # 1320 Mori Gate MM, Chd, Sohib R/o # 1320, Mori Gate, MM, Chd, Mehboob R/o # 1320, Mori Gate, MM, Chd and 8 other persons who quarreled with each other and committed affray at public place at parking near Elante Mall, Ph-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 12.01.2020. All arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating/Immigration Act

Samiullah Eimaz (Afghan Nation Student) R/o # 3233, Sector-27D, Chandigarh alleged that Malkiyat Kaur, Queen Overseas Immigration and Legal Services, SCO No. 364-365, FF, Sector-34A, Chandigarh taken Rs. 2,50,000/- from complainant for providing work visa for Canada within 3 months. But alleged person did not provided visa and nor return money. A case FIR No. 07, U/S 420 IPC & 24 Immigration Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
