One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Deepak R/o # 91, DMC, Chandigarh on 08.11.2019, from Sector 38/38 West light point and recovered 5 Gram heroin from his possession. A case FIR No. 185, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two people arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-19 & 49, Chandigarh against two person who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 08.11.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Eve-teasing

A girl resident of Distt. Samba, J&K, reported that unknown persons on uber cab No. PB01B-0922, who followed her and passed wrong comments and abused her near Gurudwara chowk on 08.11.2019. A case FIR No. 274, U/S 354A, 354D, 341, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

A girl resident of Mohali reported that unknown driver of CTU bus No. CH01GA-5375, hit to her Activa Scooter No. PB65AB-2298 near Sector 16/17 light point on 08.11.2019. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 344, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person has abducted his sister namely Himanshi and his niece namely Sneha from her residence 06.11.2019. A case FIR No. 221, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 235, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Rajesh R/o # 68, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh and was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near DT Mall, IT Park, Chandigarh on 08.11.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV theft

          Harsh Kumar R/o # 251, Indian Express Society, Sector-48A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s Honda city car No. CH03M-1919 from parking of Banyan tree School, Sector-48, Chandigarh on 06.11.2019. A case FIR No. 140, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sarita R/o # 1423, Saini vihar, Phase-3, Baltana(PB) reported that unknown person stole away her Activa Scooter No.PB65R-0204 from infront of Japani garden, Sector-31, Chandigarh on 06.11.2019. A case FIR No. 275, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
