Three arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Kumar @ Chotu R/o # 3637, Mauli Complex, Chandigarh near Railway Light point towards Shashtari Nagar, Manimarja, Chandigarh and recovered 12 gram heroin from his possession on 05.08.2019. A case FIR No. 177 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay R/o # 2862, DMC, Chandigarh near Sahpur Light point, Sector-38 West, Chandigarh and recovered 10 Gram Heroin and 8 injections of drugs from his possession on 05.08.2019. A case FIR No. 118 U/S 21, 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Chandigarh near Bus Stand, Maloya, Chandigarh and recovered 1 Kg & 25 Gram Ganja from his possession on 05.08.2019. A case FIR No. 119 U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Jasvir Chaudhary R/o # 1539, 2^nd Floor, Sector-34D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person run away after stolen purse containing ATM Card, Adhar card and cash Rs, 5000/- from his residence on night of 20-07-2019. A case FIR No.201, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that her son namely Sonu aged about 18 years has been missing/abduction from her residence since 04.08.2019. A case FIR No. 108, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 101, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh on the statement of Jagjeet Singh R/o # 1740, Sector-29/A, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. PB35Z-2498 sped away after hitting to complainant’s brother riding bullet motorcycle No.CH01BT5628 at light point Sec-48/49 on 04.08.2019. He got injuries and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Sector-20, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring dowry. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
