“Braces and Oral Health”

             The World federation of Orthodontics has proclaimed May 15 as World Orthodontic Health Day, a day that orthodontists around the world can celebrate and highlight orthodontics. This day marks the signing of WFO’s charter in 1995 during the 4^th International Orthodontic Congress in San Francisco.

            On the occasion of Annual World Orthodontic Health Day a ‘Creative Writing Competition’ will be held on May 15 by Department Of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute Of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Sector 25, Chandigarh.

Theme for the competition will be “Braces and Oral Health”.

Timing: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

Venue: Room No 301 (3^RD floor)

Who can participate: Patients seeking Orthodontic treatment

Registration timing: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

All the interested candidates can participate for anyone of the following categories:

• Poetry: 8 to 12 lines
• Essay writing : 300 words
• Short story: 150 words

            Winner will be awarded with free Orthodontic treatment(Hospital Charges) and immediate treatment (no waiting)

            Consolation prizes will also be awarded to first and second runner up which would be immediate treatment with no prior waiting.
