Chandigarh Police arrested Najar Khan (age-30 yrs) R/o # 359, Samadhi Gate, Manimajra, Chandigarh from near BSNL turn, Manimajra, Chandigarh and recovered 06 gram Heroin/Smack from his possession on 02-12-2018. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & other resident of BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 11, U/S 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others all resident of Village-Makhan Majra, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 12, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-56, Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Distt.-Fatehabad, Haryana harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-39, Chandigarh alleged that her husband resident of Distt.-Mohali, Punjab harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 14, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Anupam Sharma R/o Flat No. 211/B, GH5, MDC, Panchkula, Haryana reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s discover motor cycle No. HR-16G-2586 from Tibet Market, Manimajra near Housing Board Light Point, Chandigarh on 23.12.2018. A case FIR No. 04, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Hurt

A case FIR No. 03, U/S 324 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Shiv Shankar R/o SCO No.152, Pal Dhaba, Sector-28, Chandigarh who alleged that Hariom @ Hari Ram R/o Pal Dhaba, Sector-28, Chandigarh stabbed complainant at Pal Dhaba, Second Floor, Sector-28, Chandigarh on 03.01.2018. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry Death

A case FIR No. 03, U/S 304-B, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rakesh Kumar Videnshwar R/o Village- Balra Kishun P.O-Balra Ismail, PS-Maniyari, Distt.-Muzaffarpur, Bihar who alleged that Ritu Raj, Satinder Singh, Bachni Devi, Vishal and Govinda all R/o # 1913, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh were harassing complainant’s sister for dowry due to which she was found hanging at # 1913, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 02.01.2019. Later on 03 accused persons namely Ritu Raj, Satinder Singh and Bachni Devi have been arrested in this case.  Investigation of the case is in progress.
