APPEAL TO THE PUBLIC REGARDING WINTER FESTIVE SEASON

              In view of the anticipated heavy traffic movement during this winter festive season, citizens are requested to adopt the following measures:-

  1. Please try to walk to nearby markets, nearby destinations, etc. rather than using a motor vehicle.
  2. Please plan your day in such a manner that, whenever possible, travelling is done during non-peak hours, so that traffic presence on the roads and parkings is staggered out.
  3. Car pooling may be considered
  4. Please ensure vehicles are efficiently parked in the designated parking lots not consuming more space than necessary.
  5. People are advised not to park their vehicles in ‘No Parking’ Zones/Roads; otherwise, such vehicles shall be towed away/clamped.
  6. People are advised not to park/ply their vehicles on cycle track/pedestrian pathway.
  7. In case vehicle is towed away/clamped, please contact Traffic Helpline No. 1073.
  8. Please remain patient in case of congestion and do not honk unnecessarily.
  9. General public is advised to use grounds & parking spaces of following govt. schools for parking of their vehicles from 29th to 31st December, 2018:-
