More than 50 cases registered & 40 arrested during spl. drive against diferent IPC and Excise Act

Panchkula, 28 December :- Panchkula Police registered 50 cases during Special Drive under different IPC & Excise Act.

While stating here today, spokesman of Police Department said that during Panchkula police’s Special Drive starting Dec 1^st 2018, to curb public consumption of liquor, about 50 cases have been registered against about 70 violators under different sections of Excise Act and IPC. Apart from these cases about 50 challans have also been issued under Drunken Driving.

Out of the total cases, 30 cases were registered in PS Sector-5 and 41 persons were arrested,  5 cases in PS MDC,  4 cases each in PS Pinjore and Raipur Rani, 3 cases in PS Chandimandir and 1 case each in PS Sector-20, PS Sector-14 and PS Kalka.
