Accident

A case FIR No. 458, U/S 279, 337 added 304A IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Kailash R/o # 4166, Sector-56, Chandigarh against driver of Motor Cycle No. PB-65AT-8418 namely Ram Jiwan Yadav R/o # 25, Distt.-Mohali, SAS Nagar, Punjab who hit to cyclist near beat box Sector 55/56 dividing road, Chandigarh on 05.12.2018. Cyclist namely Rakesh Kumar R/o # 2950, Sector-56, Chandigarh (age-39 yrs) got injured and admitted in PGI, where doctor declared him brought dead. Driver of motor cycle arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Raghwinder Kumar Kharwar R/o # 25/A, Type-II, PGI Campus, Sector-12, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away cash Rs. 20,000/-, 02 gold chains, 02 gold chains, 02 gold bangles, 10 silver coins & biscuit, 02 pair silver anklets, 03 artificial necklace and 02 artificial bangles from his residence on 30.11.2018. A case FIR No. 345, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Harjinder Singh R/o Village-Jawaharpur, Tehsil-Derabassi, District-Mohali, Punjab alleged that two unknown persons cheated Rs. 40,000/- from complainant at outside Central Bank of India, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh by alluring him for giving him Rs. 10,000/- extra for exchanging big notes with small 100-100 notes. A case FIR No. 425, U/S 420, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Eve-teasing

A girl alleged that Rakesh and Rintu both R/o Phase-II, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh obstructed their way and eve-teased complainant and her sister near Market, phase-II, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 435, U/S 341, 354, 354B, 354D, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
