A welfare function was organized at GO’s Mess, Police Lines, Sector 26, Chandigarh to honour the police personnel who retired from police services after attaining the age of superannuation. Sh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, UT Chandigarh accompanied by Dr. O.P. Mishra, IPS, DIG/UT, Sh. Milind Mahadeo Dumbere, IPS, SSP/HQRS, Sh. Shashank Anand, IPS, SSP/Traffic & Security, Ms. Nilambari Jagdale, IPS, SSP/UT, Sh. Ravi Kumar, IPS, SP/Crime & Ops were present along with other Police Officers at the Function. The police officers and other officials who retired after attaining the age of superannuation are Sh. Satpal Singh (Insp. ORP), Sh. Karnail Singh (Insp. ORP), Sh. Balwinder Singh (Insp. ORP), Sh. Nirmal Singh (ASI). The families of retired police officers were also invited on this occasion as a Guest of Honor. All the retirees were honoured by DGP/UT with momentums and certificates.
