Action against illicit liquor

Chandigarh police arrested Kartar Singh R/o # 1319/B, Sector 56, Chandigarh (Age-50 years) and recovered 12 bottles of country made liquor from his possession near Petrol Pump, Kacha Rasta, Sector 55, Chandigarh on 07.09.2021. A case FIR No. 232, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under NDPS Act

         Chandigarh Police arrested Shiv Kumar R/o VPO Mirjapur Asisa Barkhin, Distt. Badaun, UP (Age 50 Years) recovered 260 gm Afeem from his possession, near Shiv Mandir, Tribune Chowk towards Sector 31, Chandigarh on 07.09.2021. A case FIR No. 124, U/S 18 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

          A case FIR No. 123, U/S 147, 148, 149, 341, 307 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vishal R/o # 1370, Phase-2, Ram Darabar, Chandigarh alleged that Varun, Mohit @ Noni, Rohit, Suraj and others all resident of Chandigarh attacked on complainant with swords, knife, punch and stones at Ram Darbar, Phase-1 & 2, Dividing Road, Chandigarh on 07.09.2021. Complainant got injured and was admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Later on two persons namely Mohit @ Mony and Deepak arrested in this case, where as 3 juvenile were also apprehended and sent to Juvenile home.   Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Jai Singh R/o # 1768, Burail, Chandigarh reported that someone stole away his Auto No. PB65AW-9352 parked in front of N.K. Rana Welding Shop, Burail, Chandigarh on the night intervening 24/25-08-2021. A case FIR No. 143, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 14 years has been missing from his residence since 07.09.2021. A case FIR No. 106, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
