Two arrested for theft

Hardeep Singh R/o # 4844, Sector 38, West, DMC, Chandigarh reported that Sahil @ Shinda who stole away 3 mobile phones from complainants Booth No. 130, sector 22, Chandigarh on 09.07.2021. A case FIR No.107 U/S 380, added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Later on accused Sahil @ Shinda R/o # 461, Sector 40, Chandigarh (aged 27 years) arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Diwan Singh R/o # 381, New colony, Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh reported that unknown person, who stole away one Dell laptop, gold pedal and one pair gold tops from complainant resident on the night intervening 05/06.07.2021. A case FIR No.74 U/S 380, 457 added 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Later on accused Amandeep @ Mota R/o # 134, Village Khuda Jassu, Chandigarh (aged 19 years) arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Majot R/o Rehar, Distt. Karnal (HR), reported that unknown person, who stole away 2 loud speakers, 1 wall fan from Flat No. 51, BJP office, Sector 3, Chandigarh on the night intervening 03/04.07.2021. A case FIR No.107 U/S 379, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A lady resident of Sector-14, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bicycle from complainant’s residence on 09.07. A case FIR No. 93, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting

A case FIR No. 95, U/S 147, 148, 153, 427, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhvir Singh R/o # 5455, Sector 38 West, Chandigarh against Navneet Singh @ Navo R/o Mirchi Mandi Patiala (PB) along with 2 unknown person who pelted stone on complainant’s residence on the night intervening 02/03-07.2021. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 123, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sanjiv Gautam R/o # 548, Samadhi Gate, MM, Chandigarh reported that unknown vehicle hit to complainant active No. CH01BP-1539 parked near Shop No. 1867, Samadhi Gate, Manimajra, Chandigarh.
