International Gian Workshop on “Primary Immunodeficiency diseases from
bench to bedside” started today in the Department of SAIF/CIL, Panjab
University. Prof. Dr.Nima Rezaei, a leading scientist is the guest
faculty from Tehran University of Medical Science, Iran. Prof. Raj
Kumar, Vice Chancellor, PU and Prof. Jagat Ram, Director PGI sent
their blessings for the success of prestigious GIAN workshop.
Prof. S.K.Mehta, Director SAIF/CIL and Local GIAN Coordinator started
the inaugural proceedings by welcoming the august gathering and
sharing the importance of the workshop in today’s world. He introduced
the audience to the GIAN scheme and various GIAN programmes which were held so far. Prof. Mehta encouraged the participants to
enthusiastically participate in such workshops, conferences and
symposium as theylay a foundation for future collaborations in terms
of research and development.
Prof. Dr. Surjit Singh, In charge Paediatric Centre at PGIMER,
Chandigarh, as Course Coordinator welcomes the participants and read
out message of Director PGI. Dr. Amit Rawat from PGI introduced Prof.
Dr. Nima Rezaei, the foreign faculty. Prof. Nima Rezaei in his address
mentioned about his previous collaborations with Prof. Surjit Singh
and Dr. Amit Rawat. He elaborated about the Primary immunodeficiency
diseases and thanked the coordinators for inviting him to India for
this course. Prof. Rezaei hoped this workshop to be an interactive
platform for all the participants. He mentioned that it was his dream
to visit India. Thereafter,
The 5-day schedule of the activities of the workshop was explained by
Dr. Deepak B Salunke, joint Course Coordinator. He told the audience
about the achievements of Prof. Razaei in such a young age, who has
over 700 publications so far. The inaugural function concluded with a
group photograph.

पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय के संस्कृत विभाग में पुलवामा में शहीद सैनिकों को श्रद्धाञ्जलि के रूप में 2 मिनट का मौन रखा गया। इस दौरान सामूहिक प्रार्थना की गयी कि देश के हर कोने में शान्ति व सद्भाव हमेशा बना रहे और दोबारा इस प्रकार की घटना न घटे। इस विषय में संस्कृत विभाग के अध्यक्ष प्रो. वीरेन्द्र कुमार अलंकार तथा छात्रों ने भारतीय जवानों की देशसेवा के अनेक पक्षों को याद किया।

Special drive against consuming liquor at public place was carried out at different parts of the city in which total 06 cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered.
In continuation of a special drive against consuming liquor at public place, yesterday, the drive was carried out at different parts of the city. Under this drive total 06 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered in different police stations of Chandigarh in which total 07 persons were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. All later on bailed out. The detail of police Stations in which cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 got registered:- PS-03= 2 cases, PS-11= 1 case, PS-ITP = 1 case, PS-39= 2 cases.
This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.
One arrested under NDPS
Chandigarh Police arrested Sunny R/o # 2603, DBC, Sector-25, Chandigarh from near dental turn, Sector-25, Chandigarh and recovered total 24 injections of drugs from his possession on 17.02.2019. A case FIR No. 28, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Suresh Kumar R/o # 306, VPO-Ramgarh, Distt.-Panchkula, Haryana reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s bullet Motor Cycle No. HR-03X-4219 from parking of PEC, Sector-12, Chandigarh on 15-02-2019. A case FIR No. 30, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Abducted/missing
A person resident of Village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s son aged about 16 years has been missing from his resident since 16.02.2019. A case FIR No. 67, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh.Investigation of the case is in progress.
One arrested for Theft
A case FIR No. 47, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the Complaint of Aasif R/o Village- Mehmoodpur Ghari, Tehsil, Mavana, Distt.-Meerut, Uttar Pradesh against unknown person who stolen away 05 PVC (2 full top, 02 plastic-T, 1 elbow) and 1 iron testing cube from backside CITCO Petrol pump, Sector-17, Chandigarh on the night intervening dated 16/17.02.2019. Later on one accused lady resident of Sector-25, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
बद्दी। जम्मू कश्मीर के पुलवामा में शहीद हुए जवानों की मौत की साजिश रचने वाले पाक आंतकी की तारीफ करने वाले एक युवा छात्र को बददी जिला पुलिस ने हिरासत में लिया है। पूलिस ने इस मामले को पूरी तरह गुप्त रखा क्योंकि जहां पुलवामा हमले से पूरा देश आक्रोशित है वहीं बीबीएन के युवा भी बहुत ज्यादा आक्रोशित है।
गौरतलब है कि वेलेंनटाईन वाले दिन पुलवामा में सेना की गाडी में एक कार ने घुसकर विस्फोट कर कर दिया जिससे सेना के काफिले में शामिल 42 जवान शहीद हो गए थे। इस हमले में आरडीएक्स लाकर मानव बम बना फियादीन हमला करने वाला जैश का कमांडो 22 साल का आदिल अहमद डार उर्फ बकास भी मारा गया था। जो कि पिछले साल आंतकी संगठन जैश-ए- मोहमद में शामिल हुआ था। उसने सीमा पार कर पाकिस्तान में कमांडो ट्रेनिंग ली थी। गुरुवार को वह 350 किलो आरडीएक्स से भरी एसयूवी को सीआरपीएफ की बस से जा भिड़ा था। इस भयानक हमले में 42 जवान शहीद हुए थे। जैसे ही इस विस्फोट से भारतीय जवान शहीद हुए बरोटीवाला के निजी विवि के मुस्लिम छात्र ने अपनी फेसबुक प्रोफाईल को अपडेट कर दिया और सरेआम आंतकी आदिल की फोटो पोस्ट करते हुए लिखा आमीन, अल्लाह आपको जन्नत नसीब करे। किसी ने इस पोस्ट की शिकायत तुरंत पुलिस को करी और बरोटीवाला पुलिस ने भी तुरंत मामले की गंभीरता को समझते हुए इंजीनियरिंग द्वितीय वर्ष के छात्र को तुरंत हिरासत में ले लिया। पुलिस ने इसको एंटी नेशनल गतिविधियों में संलिप्तता के आरोप में गिरफतार कर लिया है और तहसीन गुल्ल को किसी सुरक्षित स्थान पर रखा है। बीबीएन का पूरा प्रशासन, सीआईडी, जिला प्रशासन और आईबी सहित तमाम विभाग इस मामले को खंगालने में जुट गए हैं।
सिविल इंजीनिरिंग का छात्र है : वीसी
इस संदर्भ में चितकारा विश्वविद्यालय के वाईस चांसलर वीरेंद्र कंवर से बात की गई तो उन्होने कहा कि हमारे एक सिविल इंजीनियरिंग के द्वितीय वर्ष के छात्र तहसीन गुल्ल निवासी जमू कश्मीर हरवर्द को पुलिस पूछ ताछ के लिए ले गई है। उन्होने कहा कि मुझे मामले के बारे में ज्यादा नहीं पता लेकिन यह पता चला कि उसने किसी देश विरोधी पोस्ट को लाईक किया था। हमने उसको तुरंत प्रभाव से विश्वविद्यालय से निकाल दिया है। वहीं दूसरी ओर बददी एसपी बददी रोहित मालपानी ने बताया कि हमारे ध्यान में जैसे ही यह मामला आया तो हमने तुरंत विवि प्रशासन से इस बाबत संपूर्ण जानकारी लिखकर ली और छात्र का पूरा पता व इतिहास खंगाला तो राष्ट्र विरोधी गतिविधियों को बढावा देने व उसमें संलिप्त पाए जाने पर तहसीन गुल्ल को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। अभी इस मामले में जांच जारी है।
पुलिस ने आरोपी का मोबाइल लिया कब्जे मेंं
एएसपी नरेश शर्मा ने बताया कि आज तहसीन गुल्ल को कसौली की अदालत में पेश किया जहां से उसको 11 दिन की न्यायिक हिरासत मिली है। अब उसको 28 फरवरी को दोबारा पेश किया जाएगा। उन्होने बताया कि आरोपी का मोबाईल कब्जे में ले लिया है और उसके कमरे की तलाशी के दौरान कुछ संदिग्ध नहीं मिला है।
नयी दिल्ली: पुलवामा में हुए आतंकी हमले में शहीद जवानों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए व्यापारियों ने सोमवार यानी 18 फरवरी को देश भर में भारत व्यापार बंद की घोषणा की है। बंद का आह्वान व्यापारियों के प्रमुख संगठन कनफेडरेशन आफ आल इंडिया ट्रेडर्स (कैट) ने किया है। कैट ने बयान में कहा कि बंद के दौरान सभी थोक एवं खुदरा बाजार बंद रहेंगे।
कैट के महासचिव प्रवीण खंडेलवाल ने कहा कि दिल्ली के घंटाघर, चांदनी चौक पर दोपहर को व्यापारियों की एक श्रद्धांजलि सभा होगी जिसमें शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि देने के साथ साथ पाकिस्तान और चीनी सामान का पुतला जलाया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि व्यापारी शहीदों के
परिवारों को मदद के लिए धन भी जुटाएंगे जो सीधे शहीदों के परिजनों को दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि कल के बंद में महाराष्ट्र, मध्य प्रदेश, पश्चिम बंगाल, उत्तर प्रदेश, राजस्थान, तमिलनाडु, पंजाब, हरियाणा, जम्मू-कश्मीर और अन्य राज्यों के व्यापारी शामिल होंगे।
काश्मीर से लाखों हिन्दू परिवारों के पालायन पर सदा चुप्पी साधे रहने वाले ओमर अब्दुल्लाह को चंद कश्मीरी विद्यार्थियों की चिंता सता रही है क्योंकि उन काश्मीरी मुस्लिम छात्रों में से कुछ ने पुलवामा हमले को जायज ठहराया था और शायद उन पर प्रशासनिक कार्यवाही चल रही है। अब ओमर यह वक्तव्य दे कर स्थिति को काश्मीरियों के लिए और भयावह बता कर भुनाना चाहते हैं। अगर ओमर को काश्मीरियों कि चिंता होती तो काश्मीर का पर्याय बन चुके घाटी से निष्कासित पंडित अपने ही देश में रेफ़्यूजी न होते। काश्मीर के लिए रोने वाले ने काश्मीर कि आधी आबादी को वापिस बुलाने के लिए क्या प्रयास किए? एक बार भी उन्होने भारत के दूसरे हिस्सों में बसे काश्मीरी पंडितों के घरौंदों में जा कर उनका हाल चाल पूछा, इतिहास अभी तक उस लम्हे को खोज रहा है।
श्रीनगर: नेशनल कांफ्रेंस (नेकां) उपाध्यक्ष उमर अब्दुल्ला ने पुलवामा आतंकी हमले के बाद देश में कुछ स्थानों पर कश्मीरियों को कथित तौर पर प्रताड़ित किए जाने पर रविवार को कहा कि कश्मीर महज जमीन का एक टुकड़ा नहीं है, बल्कि यह लोगों से मुकम्मल होता है।
जम्मू कश्मीर के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि कश्मीरियों पर हमले कर लोग कह रहे हैं कि कश्मीर घाटी के बाहर उनके लिए कोई जगह नहीं है और देश की मुख्य भूमि (शेष भारत) में उनका कोई भविष्य नहीं है। उन्होंने ट्वीट कर पूछा ,‘‘…कश्मीरियों को ‘निष्कासित’ कर किसके उद्देश्य पूरे किए जा रहे हैं।’’ADVERTISING
